Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the relationship between The Car Care Company (Isle of Man) and any client who submits an enquiry, books a service, or enters into a management agreement with us. By submitting an enquiry or proceeding with a booking, you agree to these terms.
1. About Us
The Car Care Company is the trading name used by the operating company, registered on the Isle of Man, based at 36 Spring Valley Industrial Estate, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM2 2QS. References to "we", "us" or "our" refer to The Car Care Company and its operating entity.
2. Enquiries & Bookings
Submitting an enquiry through our website does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is only confirmed once we have communicated acceptance and, where applicable, received payment or a deposit.
We reserve the right to decline any enquiry or booking at our discretion without providing a reason.
3. Pricing
All prices quoted are estimates unless confirmed in writing. Final pricing may vary depending on the condition of the vehicle, additional work required, or changes to the agreed scope of work. We will notify you of any material price changes before proceeding.
Prices are quoted in GBP and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Please read this section carefully. Our cancellation policy exists to protect our team's time and livelihoods.
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled appointment: no charge
- Cancellations made between 24–48 hours before a scheduled appointment: 50% of the agreed service price will be charged
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment, or no-shows: 100% of the agreed service price will be charged
- Rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours in advance will be accommodated where possible at no charge
In the event of extreme weather or circumstances outside our control, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment at no penalty to either party.
5. Vehicle Access & Condition
You are responsible for ensuring that we have safe and reasonable access to your vehicle at the agreed time and location. If access is not available and we are unable to carry out the work, this may be treated as a cancellation subject to the policy above.
You must inform us in advance of any pre-existing damage, modifications, or conditions that may affect our work. We are not liable for any pre-existing damage or defects that were not disclosed prior to service.
We take all reasonable care when handling vehicles. In the unlikely event of damage caused directly by our negligence, we will work with you to reach a fair resolution. We are not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions or defects.
6. Collection & Delivery
Where we collect or deliver your vehicle as part of a service, we will do so with the same care we apply to all work. You accept that the vehicle is being driven by an authorised member of our team solely for the purpose of the agreed service. Our team members are fully licenced to drive the vehicle.
You are responsible for ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy, taxed, and insured for third-party use at the point of collection.
7. Storage Services
Where we provide vehicle storage, the following additional terms apply:
- Storage is charged monthly and payment is due in advance
- We take reasonable steps to secure stored vehicles but cannot guarantee against unforeseen events (fire, flood, theft, acts of God). You are strongly advised to maintain your own vehicle insurance throughout the storage period.
- We are not liable for deterioration arising from the condition of the vehicle at the point of storage (e.g. pre-existing mechanical issues, flat batteries due to long-term storage)
- A minimum notice period of 7 days is required to retrieve your vehicle from storage
- We reserve the right to charge for any additional cleaning or remedial work required if the vehicle is returned to us in a condition significantly worse than when stored
8. Airport Transfer Service
Our complimentary client transfer service is provided as part of a storage package and does not constitute a licensed taxi or private hire service. No separate charge is made for the transfer — it is included as a courtesy element of the storage service. By using this service you acknowledge this arrangement.
9. Management Plans
Management plan agreements are subject to a minimum term of one month. Cancellation of a management plan requires 30 days' written notice. We reserve the right to adjust management plan pricing with 30 days' notice to the client.
10. Payment Terms
Payment is due on completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. For larger jobs, a deposit of up to 50% may be required before work commences. We accept bank transfer and card payment. Outstanding invoices not paid within 14 days may incur a late payment charge.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us at info@thecarcarecompany.com within 48 hours of the service being completed. We will do our best to resolve any issues promptly and fairly.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Isle of Man. Any disputes that cannot be resolved between us will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Isle of Man courts.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
